For years now I have suffered with anxiety and this has made me someone who enjoys just ‘floating’ in life, not standing out or doing anything different just simply doing the same things and not really changing my routine up or trying anything new.
Apart from moving out from my parents house and changing up jobs once in a while, I haven’t really done anything different and new in quite a while. Well, that is, up until this year.
So, I have decided that this year I really want to step out of my comfort zone and try new things… now I can’t say I have organised a lot because well, I haven’t. But I did decide in May this year, to support Dogs Trust, I would participate in a sponsored Sky Dive!!!
Now that is most definitely stepping out my comfort zone! I have never been scared of heights and I have always wanted to jump out of a plane but it’s one of them things that I thought just passed and it was a challenge to make it a reality. But, in actual fact, it was just a matter of contacting the company and setting a date and then, of course, raise some money for the chosen Charity.
I am super excited to do this but it still feels very surreal at the moment. Not to mention, I keep forgetting about it and I haven’t really mentioned it to a lot of people and so I really need to get my finger out and raise awareness to all my friends and family about it.
If anyone would like to sponsor me for this, I would be so grateful and appreciative as I am starting to get a little nervous about it.. I mean, it is only 2 months away ahhhhh!
If anyone has any tips on what to take with me on the day/what to wear/what to expect I would again, be so grateful, as I have never done anything like this before. Do I eat before it and risk bringing it back up mid-air, lol!
Anyway, I just really wanted to vent that out and hopefully get some tips and advice for the big day when it comes. Why don’t you step out your comfort zone this year and try something new?
Have any of you ever sky dived, please let me know below!

Recently, I started a new job at a call centre, I have completed the 4 weeks of classroom training and I am 1 day into the real life call training where you take the calls, fully supported by managers and floor walkers. During this process I have realised how often people change jobs or begin a job for the first time and it can be so daunting, the fear of the unknown. No matter how many times you change jobs, nothing can stop the butterflies the night before your first day or the fear of getting out the car once you arrive.
Hey everyone, another month is upon us so soon and so I have decided to share a few of the bits I have been loving in the month of January… enjoy!
